Men’s Boutique Junior manager, London

An exciting vacancy has arisen in our beautiful Men’s store. Located in Seven Dials in central London, this quirky, cool store needs someone motivated and commercial, capable of leading the current store into its next phase.

You will be already at least at supervisor level, ideally with some experience of seeking local opportunities and partnerships. This role requires a real ‘can – do’ attitude, and the ability to think outside the box.

Reporting into the flagship store manager, you will be able to influence the trading of the store and performance of the team by challenging the norm and seeking an outstanding customer experience.

This role presents a really exciting opportunity to get involved in many areas of the business, working closely with Head Office.

Main roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day operation of the store, ensuring sales targets are exceeded from all team members.
  • Motivate and develop the team to increase performance
  • Strive for all team members to be brand ambassadors
  • Ensure store merchandising reflects the brand
  • Work with Head Office on developing customer base and building local partnerships
  • Meet objectives for all internal processes including paperwork, auditing, banking etc

Part Time & Full Time Sales Assistants

We have some exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and passionate sale assistants in our London stores.

Main duties
As sales assistant you will be the face of the brand, displaying excellent customer service and providing our broad clientele with the perfect customer experience. While supporting the management team in the smooth day to day running of the store.

You will be required to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service as standard.
  • Ensure high levels of security are maintained at all times.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and visual standards in store.
  • Identify current and future customer requirements.
  • Support the manager in the day to day running of the store.
  • Maintain the brand reputation.

This is a permanent role.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will:

  • Have strong fashion retail experience.
  • Be enthusiastic, energetic and confident,
  • Have a passion for the Cambridge Satchel brand.
  • Ability to maximise sales, achieve sales targets and increase profit.
  • Provide exceptional and unique customer service as standard.
  • Be proactive and show initiative at all times.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and fluency in English (Other languages would be beneficial.)
  • Demonstrate a consistently positive and 'can-do' attitude.
  • Be a team player.
  • Have a polite manner and high standard of personal presentation.

Salary: Competitive

Production Facility, Syston, Leicestershire

Leather Marker, Leicestershire

The Cambridge Satchel Company are currently recruiting for a Leather Marker based at our Production Facility in Syston, Leicestershire.

Hours of work for this position are Monday - Friday 7am-4pm

Main Duties:

  • Preparing and marking cut pieces of leather ready for production
  • Scoring and gluing of trims
  • Understanding the difference between natural and man-made faults with leather
  • Using various machinery and tooling including knives and bradels
  • Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience working with leather advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Willingness to learn
  • Self motivated
  • Strong team player
  • Good attention to detail
  • Must be able to maintain quality and pace
  • Very hands on position
