Job Specification: PR Paid Internship

We are looking for an enthusiastic, media savvy team player to join our in-house PR team. We are offering a six-month paid internship in our central London office. The role covers the following:
Press Office Admin

  • Daily monitoring of coverage including print, online and blog features
  • Responsible for pulling together weekly and monthly PR & social media coverage reports
  • Responsible for product send outs ensuring sample management is seamless with up to date stock takes and sample reviews
  • Manage seasonal gifting including collating gifting lists, embossing samples and sending out
  • Maintain and update media database and mailing lists
  • Assist in organisation and running of PR events including small intimate breakfasts and in store events through to larger scale events and press trips
  • Work with Press Officer and product development team to secure samples
  • Manage awards and spokesperson events calendar, identifying opportunities for the brand

Media relations

  • Support Senior Press Officer with drafting press releases and e-alerts
  • Responsible for image requests – sourcing relevant images and liaising with media and Press Officer to ensure images are delivered on time for key opportunities
  • Develop awareness of media targets and opportunities for the brand; working to proactively identify opportunities and suggest ideas for positive coverage through features, news stories, product placement across all target media

Social media & influencers

  • Support on influencer campaigns and digital events
  • Share recommendations of influencers to engage through our activity and to work on campaigns
  • Work closely with the social media team and brief on all events and product/campaign launch initiatives

General

  • Build strong industry & competitor awareness. Work with Marketing Executive to add in to weekly competitor report with activity seen in key media.
  • Support wider marketing team where required; setting up meeting room as required and providing assets to marketing, wholesale and retail partners
  • Ensure showroom is perfectly presented with the correct samples on show for any media or wholesale appointments
  • Bring creativity, enthusiasm and determination to the role through constant innovations, ideas and opportunities
  • Keep an eye on the industry, competitor and the retail, fashion, digital, lifestyle and media landscape

Hours: Flexible: part time & full time
As sales assistant you will be the face of the brand, displaying excellent customer service and providing our broad clientele with the perfect customer experience. As well supporting the London market management team in the smooth day to day running of the store, including working together to meet targets.

Main duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service as standard across all areas of the business
  • Ensure high levels of security are maintained at all times.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and visual standards in store.
  • Identify current and future customer requirements.
  • Support the Managers in the day to day running of the store.

As senior sales-assistant you will be the face of the brand, displaying excellent customer service and providing our broad clientele with the perfect customer experience. While supporting the management team in the smooth day-to-day running of the store whilst working together to meet targets.
You will be able to inspire the team to deliver a high standard of customer service, leading by example and ensuring that every customer receives the best possible experience during his or her visit. Reporting to the London management team, you will be responsible for influencing the trading of the store and performance of the team.

  • Monitor standards in and around the property reporting any maintenance issues. Ensure back of house areas are clean and well-presented and post/parcels/deliveries are managed closely
  • Have a presence in retail and head office meetings and be knowledgeable on all things CSC as you will be a key contact point for Head Office departments
