Some collaborations just make sense. This one has been a few centuries, and one very good satchel, in the making.
The Cambridge Satchel Company was founded in 2008. Where, you ask? Well… Cambridge, of course. And the original inspiration behind our classic leather satchel? The traditional school bags once carried by students at Oxford and Cambridge. So, really, you could say we’re going back to where it all began.
Now, Cambridge meets Cambridge with a collection created in collaboration with the university itself. Two names with a shared appreciation for heritage, craftsmanship and doing things properly, while never being afraid to make a statement.
Naturally, the collection had to dress for the occasion. The bags and accessories are crafted in Cambridge colours: deep navy and light blue, finished with a rather brilliant pop of pink. Collegiate styling, The Cambridge Satchel way.
Designed for students, aspiring students, alumni and anyone with a soft spot for Cambridge, the collection is ready for whatever the term, or life, has in store.
The classic satchel has room for the important things: laptops, books, notebooks and that reading you were definitely going to finish before the seminar. Plus an A5 notebook for brilliant ideas, important notes and the occasional doodle. The matching AirPods case clips neatly onto your satchel, keeping your soundtrack within easy reach. Classical music while studying in some of the oldest buildings in the country? Very Cambridge. Rock music instead? We won’t tell...
And, of course, no Cambridge bound collection would be complete without a matching luggage tag. Whether you’re arriving for the start of term, heading home for the holidays or travelling somewhere entirely new, it makes your belongings rather difficult to miss.
After all, Cambridge has always looked good on a satchel.
