As many of you know, The Cambridge Satchel Co. is a proud female-founded and female-led business; and we wouldn’t be who we are without the many women in our teams! So, when it comes to International Women’s Day, we like to give back and show our support to those women who need it.

This year, we are raising funds for The Prince’s Trust to help #ChangeAGirlsLife this International Women’s Day. Sadly, young women in the UK are disproportionately disadvantaged compared to their male peers. Add this to a pandemic, and for the young women who reach out to The Prince’s Trust, life is harder than ever before.
The courses offered by The Prince’s Trust help young women who face disadvantage and adversity to build the confidence and skills they need to move into work, training and education. Many young women feel anxious, have lost confidence in themselves and are worried for a future which appears to be spiralling beyond their control. Without the right support, there is a very real risk that they could lose hope for the future.
So, how can you help? On the 8th and 9th of March, 10% of any Oxblood-coloured bag bought online or in store will be donated to the Prince’s Trust. Your purchases can #ChangeAGirlsLife this International Women’s Day, as every penny raised for the campaign will enable The Prince’s Trust to support more young women to overcome any challenges they are facing and change their lives for the better.
